This December Mike and I returned to Walt Disney World for our 2nd December trip, and we are just IN LOVE with this magical time of year to visit! An opportunity to connect with fellow travel advisors sparked the original travel plans, and we built a magical agenda which included lots of relaxation time as well as holiday fun!

One special element was our return to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, where we stayed as a family a little over 5 years before. This time we stayed in a new island area of the resort, Jamaica, not far from the Disney Skyliner or the main building (in 2019 we stayed in Martinique very near the main building and buses-also loved)! We just adore the beachy vibe here and it is ever so convenient with the Disney Skyliner!

We enjoyed our dinner in Disney Springs at The Edison, very jazzy!

For our first full day, we hit EPCOT for a day of fun, including the International Festival of the Holidays, attractions, character dinner at Garden Grill, Voices of Liberty in the American Adventure pavilion, Canada Far and Wide and Impressions de France shows, and Luminous The Symphony of Us nighttime spectacular!

Beef Bourguignon from the Yukon Holiday Kitchen in Canada was amazing! Red and green macaron sandwich with mint gelato from L'Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion was festive! Slow-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce from the American Holiday Table was yum! SNICKERS-Doodle Cookie was good as well! Tamal de Puerco con Mole from Las Posadas booth and Holiday Margarita were enjoyed by Mike!

Peanut butter cookie with M & M's milk chocolate minis from Sunshine Seasons was my favorite of the EPCOT cookie stroll! We did not have the stomach room to do the whole stroll!

We dined with characters at Garden Grill-Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Mickey! Our favorite foods here were the grilled beef, turkey, gravy, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes!

The next day was a magical day including a quiet start to the morning at the resort; mass at Basilica of Mary, Queen of the Universe; Disney Springs lunch at Summer House on the Lake with dear friend and fellow travel advisor Kelly; and then Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

Highlights of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party were absolutely Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks! Attraction lines were short and we enjoyed our share of these as well! Of course the complimentary cookie and beverage stations add to the magic-our favorites being the Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chip and Joffrey's hot cocoa! For savory foods, my pick is the Holiday Pot Roast Melt at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe! The holiday spirit permeates throughout the park and is very special!

Our last full day began with a delicious brunch and cake at The Cake Bake Shop on Disney’s Boardwalk. We then enjoyed lots of time exploring the resorts, including Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. We loved seeing all of the holiday decorations and eating at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tambu Lounge at the Poly!

On our last morning we strolled over to Disney’s Riviera Resort, an easy 10 minute walk from our room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and stored our bags at bell services while we visited our favorite character meal, breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace. So charming and relaxing with delectable food! We then hopped on our airport transportation- Away We Go, which is so easy and stress-free. Always sad to leave Disney but excited to return in February for Run Disney’s Disney Princess 10k, staying at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort!
